KATHY WHITWORTH

Our Clinic will be hosted by World Golf Hall of Fame member Kathy Whitworth, winner of more tournaments than any other male or female professional golfer in history. Known as an exceptional teacher, Kathy will share her secrets and offer tips for golfers of all ages and skill levels.

Kathy Whitworth grew up in New Mexico. She began playing golf “late” at the age of 15, but by the time she graduated from high school in 1957 she won the New Mexico State Amateur Championship.  She turned pro the following year and went on to an explosive career, during which she was known as an excellent driver and a top putter.  Kathy won 88 Tour tournaments, an LPGA and PGA record.  She served three terms as President of the LPGA Executive Board, helping shape policy and grow the LPGA Tour.  Kathy now resides in Flower Mound, Texas
